Water Cycle Rain Drop
I am a raindrop. I was born in the ocean. The fishes told me about a story called adventure. The story was so good that I took an adventure. First I went to the pond. It was going to rain so the clouds sucked me up and told all my friends to get into the clouds. Then drop to the ground. Aaaaahhhhhh… Ouch! I’m sliding and I cannot stop from the ground. Yes, I’m sliding back to the ocean.

Reindeer Trouble
St. Nick is feeling sick. He forgot about changing the Rudolph’s light inside his nose. When he went to deliver presents Rudolph’s nose started to twitch. It cut off so Santa had to call back to the North Pole and ask if they had anymore light bulbs. The elves could not find any, but suddenly Santa remembered he had some light bulbs in his pocket. Santa replaced Rudolph’s light bulb and then landed on a roof.
He went down the chimney with presents and he saw a bowl of ink and a letter. Santa picked up the letter and it said:
Dear Santa,
Put your fingerprint on this paper by using the bowl of ink. Put your hand inside the bowl of
ink and splot it on the paper.
The next morning Santa was done delivering presents and he came back to the North Pole tired. He was so tired the elves had to tie a rope to his arms and legs and pull Santa to his bed. After only sleeping a few minutes, Santa remembered he was supposed to check on the elves every hour. He decided to relax and just the elves do their jobs.
When Santa wakes up again he realizes he has pneumonia. He was scared to go out in public. The elves went out instead and everyone was so happy, even the children. The children wanted to hug Santa and give him a hard shake. The news showed Santa and the children and Santa became nervous so he brought his sled around and returned to the North Pole.
As soon as he got home he went to bed. The elves asked him if he knew how many people saw him. Santa didn’t answer because he was nervous. Instead he took his medicine and went to sleep. When Santa woke up the next morning he wasn’t sick anymore.
He got up and checked on the elves. The elves were tired so Santa told the elves they could have the rest of the day off. The elves laid in their beds for the rest of the day.
Santa was so happy he felt better he felt like making toys for the next Christmas. He made millions of toys and he wrapped them in paper and put all of the toys in a bag.
Santa was so happy he played in the snow with his sled. Santa and the elves went inside to make sure everything was write and the library was empty. Santa was not a happy camper. He asked his elves were his books went. They told Santa they had wrapped them up inside the presents. Santa was not mad when he heard that because he thought they were going to a kid. He sat on his bed and read the Holy Bible and did not speak until the next day.

Haiku
In Reading we learned about traditional and modern haiku.
In my traditional haiku I created an image of a shark. Here is my haiku:
Gray, big white sharp teeth
circling under the surfer
following to bite

These are all my favorites
I like basketball and football. Football is a good sport and basketball is also fun. Basketball and football are the best sports ever! My favorite foods are pizza and chicken.

I feel great about having a first black president. People know that he is the 44th president. People are happy that we have Obama as our president of the United States. The meeting today was really important to Obama for being the first black president to be on tv. So many people voted for him because many people wanted a black president. All of the other people that had been presidents are all white and I’m glad that Obama is our black president. African Americans came from slavery to having a black president. Many people wanted to see him talk face to face and the people wanted to hear him talk about being the president of the United States. Kids wanted to see him at the inauguration. Many people were happy.
